Woven Coir Geotextiles
Sri Raga Peat Woven Coir Geotextiles are eco-friendly erosion control solutions manufactured from high-quality coir fibre yarn. Designed to stabilize soil, prevent erosion, and encourage natural vegetation, they offer a sustainable and cost-effective alternative to synthetic geotextiles. Naturally resistant to rot and mould, coir geotextiles provide excellent durability while supporting long-term environmental restoration.
The woven fabric is available with square mesh openings of 1/4″, 1/2″, and 1″, allowing effective soil retention and water flow. These geotextiles reduce the impact of heavy rainfall, minimize surface runoff, and help maintain soil moisture, creating ideal conditions for seed germination and root establishment. As vegetation becomes established, the biodegradable coir gradually decomposes into nutrient-rich humus, leaving behind a healthy and stable landscape.
